Renfrewshire Women’s Association is a local forum where women and supporting agencies come together to raise awareness about gender-based violence including domestic abuse, rape, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. We work together• to rid society of a view that violence against women and children is acceptable
• to raise awareness of the impact that abuse has on families and our communities
• to ensure that survivors have a voice and that they are supported in their journey of recovery.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO CHANGE?
We want Renfrewshire to be:-
• A safe place for women and children to live, work and play
• Free from Domestic violence, child abuse, rape, sexual assault and any form of sexual exploitation that affects our society
• A place where no form of violence against woman and children is tolerated by residents
• A place where those who have experienced or witnessed violence or abuse are able to receive the support and help they require.
